Short Biography
I received the Ph.D. degree in metaheuristics for constrained optimization problems from National University of San Luis, Argentina, in 2004 (Advisers: Dr. Zbigniew Michalewicz and Dr. Carlos Coello Coello). Currently, I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the National University of San Luis, San Luis, Argentina.
I am with the Research and Development Lab on Computational Intelligence, responsible of the "Metaheuristics Research Group" and collaborate with two groups working in computational intelligence. Also, I am with the group working on Advanced Computational Tools for Administration of Digital Contents in Undergraduate Education.
I have published journal papers, book chapters, and more than 60 conference papers (see more).
Currently, I am holding collaborations (joint publications, visits, and exchanges) with some national and international universities.
My current research interests involve the design and application of ant colony optimization, evolutionary algorithms, differential evolution, and other metaheuristics to continuous and combinatorial problems.
